About the Artist
Karen Bencke was born into the warmth of the Honolulu sun in 1974. After moving around the States from California to North Carolina—where she earned a B.A. in Studio Art—and several places in between, she landed in the arctic region of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Ever since a random outing to a neighborhood stained glass shop in 2001 piqued her interest, it’s been glass cuts and soldering iron burns ever since.
